Thermal Imaging Included in Every Residential Home Inspection
While our Residential Home Inspection examines the visible aspects of your property, Vision Home Inspection goes beyond and offers free thermal imaging with each inspection. This technology allows us to identify possible issues and damage that can’t be seen by conventional inspection methods. With an infrared thermal imaging camera, your home inspector can see things like heat loss, electrical problems, and moisture intrusion, giving you a more complete understanding of your potential property.
Additional Inspection Services We Offer
Annual Home Maintenance Inspections
Vision Home Inspection encourages new homeowners to sign up for annual home maintenance inspections. During these inspections, a customer’s roof and boiler are checked, and the inspector can advise on how to prepare the home for summer or winter weather. Keeping up with these once-a-year inspections also ensures that no issues in the home are left untreated for prolonged periods of time, which saves customers money and worry in the long-run.
New Construction Inspection
After the construction of a new home, it is important to receive an inspection before the final walkthrough. During this inspection, Vision Home Inspection can check the new home for any material defects before it is considered move-in ready or put on the market.
11th Month Inspection
All newly constructed homes generally come with a one-year warranty which covers construction errors and material defects. During an 11th month home inspection, Vision Home Inspection thoroughly searches for any sign of defect or damage that may be covered under a customer’s warranty before the year is up.
Wood Destroying Organisms/Termite Inspection
Vision Home Inspection is certified to inspect for evidence of infestations and previous damage caused by wood destroying insects. Since termite treatment and control is not covered by homeowners insurance, it’s critical to have an inspection in order to minimize potential costly expenses and protect your home.
An Interactive Create Request List™ (CRL) Tool
All Vision Home Inspection reports include a Create Request List (CRL) tool, which is unique to the HomeGauge Software we use during inspection. By logging in through a computer or mobile device to the inspection report, the homebuyer, agent, or seller is able to show any issues they wish to repair that were found during the home inspection. They can also make notes about how they plan on repairing each listed issue. This tool makes communication between buyers, sellers, and realtors clear and easily understood.
